Another Fire!

Well, now that the MAFFS team has been sent to California to help with the fires there, Boulder CO has a big fire to deal with. It seems they are short on men to fight it. We are having high winds and this fire is raging out of control.
This is getting scarey.

I could see smoke from both the Cherokee Ranch fire in Douglas County and the Overland fire in Boulder yesterday afternoon from Elizabeth.

The cold wet fronts came just a little late, but they're welcome!

I can see it from my house. Not good.
We live east of Boulder by about 15 miles.
I don't think there is any way it can get to us. I hope. It would need to cross two major highways. The land all around us is very dry and just right for a fire. we have our place mowed down flat. I just hope that the surrounding fields don't catch for some reason.
