Whenever anybody said that their dog was sprayed by a skunk, I always thought to myself,"That doesn't smell that bad." because all of the skunks that I have ever smelled were the ones that were smashed on the road. Well I'm here to tell you that smashed skunk smell is NOTHING compared to the smell of a sprayed dog !!!!!

I couldn't believe how bad it smelled. The smell was in my sinuses for the next few days. We took her to the groomers and had her washed today. There was no way I was going to do it !!!!
So 2 skunk bathes, trimming, toenails clipped, washed and dried, and $136 later, she smells alot better and is prettier too.
The next time someone tells me that their dog was sprayed by a skunk, I will be ALOT more simpythetic towards them and their dog.

Next time, give him a bath in tomatoe soup. Something about it neutralizes the smell.

Got to be hard to get the smell out of a dog that has hair like me!
