Naw that's why I can't get an answer from my BIL. He's out harvesting Pecans for the next month or so. Only got bout 300 acres or so. Then it's starting the new seeds, then repot the nursery stock, then get ready for shipping season, then get ready for irrigation season, then set down till time to thrashing time again.

He founded the L-Bar Nut farm about 40 years ago. Started with a piece of land Daddy bought him next door, then bought Dad out now it's all 1. He has a web site too.

Lasy year I really enjoyed the posts on here about the ice harvest and maple sap gathering and such. Would you see if your BIL would mind if you posted his web site on here?

Ever tried brush hogging or mowing to keep down grass and weeds befor the pecans fall? Sure makes for easier picking.
