Well just now BOTH of my dogs got sprayed !!!!!!

I made a few calls

found out what skunks like best

by morning there will be no more skunks

my only dilema is..
no bullits for the 10/22
plenty for the AR-15, but too big and loud
the S&W 45 cal. is too big

so I'm going to have to use the wifes Glock 9mm.

wish me luck.

Oh, man! Some dogs never learn (mine included)!

Instead of tomato juice, I suggest using the hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, dish detergent mixture to deodorize your dogs. We have used it several times and it works well. We usually bath and rinse the dogs twice in a row for best results. Since our dogs have needed this mixture more than once, I keep a supply of the ingredients in the pantry. Beats running to the store.

1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid soap (laundry or dishwashing soap)

Use as soon as it is mixed, as it is the oxygenating action that does the job. Also, keep it out of your dog's eyes.

Good luck! Maybe you should stock up, too! *g*

oh man -- get a chance, get one of those ozone/ionizer living air things in the wooden box - they'll deodorize a bathhouse that a skunk got shot under.
and keep tomato juice around for baths - good luck:)
