Got one of the New! Improved! twenty dollar bills from the bank today. Is it just me or do these things look like some 14 year old with a bad printer tried to copy money? Even the paper doesn't feel right. Doesn't feel strong enough to take the wear and tear of being crumpled and handled.

To all of you people who have so much time on your hands that you can't find anything to do but complain about the new $20 bills---just send those new $20's to me. I've found that they spend just as well as the old ones, even if it takes an extra nano-second to separate them because they are newly minted.
I hope this forum never goes away;it's such a HOOT! reading the posts and wondering about the people who do the posting!

Believe me, I will take any of them. :)
They spend just as well.
Just saying, color does look different.
Thanks,
Sarah
P.S.
Yes this forum is a great one!!

They're everywhere in our little town. I HATE trying to separate newly minted bills. These have a different feel and thickness, so it's hard to get used to telling when you have only one, or an extra one stuck to a bill.

The part that really bothered me was when I recently read the US Gov. is spending 38 MILLION DOLLARS to advertise and explain these new bills.

Hey,
You know the first time I saw one of those new $20 bills, I thought that something had been spilt on it previously or something like that. Maybe something had faded, etc.
I have heard several people say they thought the same thing.
Well who knows.
Just thought I would put my input in!
Have A Great Nite!
Sarah

Don't laugh too loud. It won't be long before that's what the bills will look like. I swear they're slowly changing money to something a total illiterate can use. Don't need to know no numbers, just look at the color.

Idiot name of Ron Gourd already arrested today for trying to trade $500 worth of counterfits for a money order at a Walmart in Tulsa.

If you want, you can give me all those new 20s. I don't care if they used crayons to make them as long as I get my $3.50 cents worth. lol

at least the us mint is ahead of australia's. they added a cute little reflective window image in their $2 bills - it was resistant to everything but sweat so everytime it got rubbed, the image came off and you had a mirror :)
