..but I like this mesage board so much;
I feel protective of it.
There are some people I know on other message boards,
but I will not share this one with them.
Not that they are not good folks but I am concerned about who they might invite.
I have posted on other boards that have been ruined very quickly by trouble makers.
Every now and then I consider telling someone about "Country Living",
then decide that is too risky.
I think a lot of the regular and newbie posters must feel that way, too.
The webmaster will quickly handle problems,
but I would not want to invite troublemakers here even by accident.
The atmosphere here is very special.

I think its just we are way too boring for any trolls. How are they going to get us upset ? they would need to put alot of time and energy into it. And that something they don't have, time, they need to get onto the next bbs and ruin that. And I think also that it moves to slow here for a troll to take over.

Hi, Lenore, Clod, surely do miss your posts on OUR board....used to have good times here, too, but like you say, there are those that warrent watching. the only mistake we made was letting these trouble makers rule us and makeing life unpleasant, so we left, but, rest assured, we will return, and, as was noted awhile back, we will ignore the trouble makers, they will eventualy go away. Have a gooder, R.E.L.

Well I never considered myself a troublemaker {a little opiniated at worst}-but most of my posts are ignored! {Or is that just you people's way of keeping "your" board to yourselves?

I have seen your posts and have not felt like you were a "troublemaker".
I guess if I agree I might just post "Amen" next time.
I dont always post when I disagree.
I usually just read them and dont respond.
If I disagree strongly, I do respond.
I try to do it intelligently and without the intention to start a war.
I think people here do admirably well,
even with different views we keep it civil.
I think that is the sign of intelligent and socially acceptable adults.
Guess that is why I like it here.

Thank you Lenore and Grove r for your response-sorry if I seemed a little thin skinned-I'm not really much of a poster--a big reader and occasional responder you might say- have a good day-

Not at all, Newgen, not at all....we read um as we see um.....we are friends to those that want to be friends......those that choose the other road will just take a little more time to realize that we are all in this together, and the hand of freindship is always extended, until slapped away. you have yourself a real good one, Ron.E.
