Mark, I watched you ease into the N board and watched you through a rifle scope as a Ford N LOL
I wondered how you took some of that flack, grief, and crap? It soon became clear that you were not one to back down.
Now I can see why Carol, would tolerate you for 19 years,, cause you're aparently a keeper.
Having said that I assume she is a SAINT!!
Donna and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and hope that you enjoy every minute that you have together. It's worked for us for 28 years.
May the two of you always enjoy the greatest gift you could have given each other, The lovely young lady that seems to want to follow in her parents footsteps.
Best to all of you
Ron and Donna

Shelby turns 18 in January! This is her last year in High School. Grand Paw paid for 4 years of Collage and she is now figuring out what school she wants to go to and I will have to take care of her Cows when she does. Mark H.

Willy-N I got her    Posted 11-17-2003 at 07:07:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
I bought her the New Club Cab Chevy Truck she wanted! I have a high stiff riding 1980 4X4 and she hates driving it. So I got her a newer White 1995 Chevy Silverado Club Cab 4X4 with a Automatic, rear fold up seat and a short bed that I still have to buy a Camper Shell for. She wanted something the Dogs could ride in and did not need a ladder to get into! I know a Truck is not flowers but she is not a flowers type girl and HER TRUCK ment a lot to her! Mark H.

Man it is cold outside for a picture! Ice all over the truck. The 4X4 will be handy for her this winter. Mark H.

A truck is a good thing for an annivesary gift. My wife and I stopped giving each other traditional gifts about 10 years ago. We found that giving things that we both really want or need is much more fulfiling than traditional stuff like floweres, jewlery and stuff like that. Besides a 50 dollar bottle of wine consumed together brings much more joy than a 50 dollar bunch of flowers left to die in a glass vase.

Good luck to you and Carol, May the joys of marriage be with the both of you throughout your days.

Congratulations to you both!

I understand BRONZE is the "correct" gift for the 19th anniversary.
Surely there is a little bronze somewhere in that truck. LOL

I knew it!!
Ha ha, it was the perfect gift and I am sure she loved it.
That is what counts most.
I miss my truck. :-(
