The story of Rando's hair. Long hair since a kid, beard and long hair in high school.
A girlfriend about 25 years ago asked me to shave. I did, she looked at me and said "Grow it back". I did and haven't shaved again.
Grew the dreds about 5 or so years ago. Hair has always been banana curls, easy to grow dreds. I used to brush my hair 6 or 7 times a year. I don't and can't brush it now. I figured I saved about 5 or 6 hours of my life not brushing my hair so I can do something else with that time. How long would it take me to get to Burlington!? That might be the thing I do with that "extra" time.
Also growing up around Jews and perhaps liking the way the Chassidic look, and being a biker for lots of years, it's normal for me to look like this.
Here's the deal, I don't drink, do drugs, smoke etc. The worse thing I do is grow my hair. Not many short hairs can say that.
Salmoneye, you can speak for me anytime. I have trust in you.

You are welcome here any time...

I have a 'tail' and I shave infrequently...But...

I vote fiscally conservative...Don't do drugs (anymore...more than a decade)...Don't smoke (anymore...6 weeks now), and the drinking thing I will work on...Just not today ;-)

I just like my hair long...I do brush it...Has nothing to do with anyone else but me...Shaved it off a couple years back and donated it to WigsForKids...May again some day...May not...

PS...By car we are about 3 1/2 hours north of Boston...6 1/2 hours North of NYC...2 hours south of Montreal...Centrally located as you can see ;-)

I, for one, cannot understand how a simple shaving question got off into left field and into that 'ole taboo area of politics. Hank is probably bald and wants all your hair Randy! LOL! As to the spider remark, look at it this way....you got eight arms to hug with! LOL!

So, when do we get to see your picture?

Salmoneye put a pic of him up a while back - before he cut it to donate, I think. He looked great. I'd like to see a pic of Randy too, from his description, it would be interesting to see.

For some reason, I've always liked long hair on guys. Not really sure why. It sometimes makes them look more manly or rugged or something, depends on the man, and how they do it. Tails are pretty good, but some guys have the type that look "girly" when it's long - but most just look good, LOL!

Hubby had long hair for a long time, now he keeps it a normal length since he has gotten older. He does grow a beard every winter, and it's in progress now. I think I've only seen him ONE time, without a mustache and he looked like a different person.

I think my wife knows how to do the picture thing. I'll ask her to help.
