Tree Stands

Well I got myself an almost brand new self climbing tree stand this morning. I went out to bak of my woodlot to drag in a deadfall that went down in the last windstorm we had a couple of weeks ago and there it was just as pretty as could be. The previous owner must have thought that the posted signs only pertained to the particular trees that they are wired to as the stand was loated about 50' inside my line on a tree without a sign on it. Now I will probably have to go to the trouble of tryin to sell the thing as I have no use for as I gave up deer hunting several years ago.

Last year I went out the sunday before the opening monday of Deer season and removed 6 tree stands of one sort or another. The wooden ones went in the creek, the aluminum ones went to the recycling center and sold for scrap aluminum.
Sucks to be them, I just wouldn't try to sell it as a working stand. I don't like leaving a trail.
Later
Ron
