Moron Trivia on today's Glenn Beck show predicts that Dallas and Green Bay will win tomorrow's games. It has a record of being correct over 80% of the time.

Where do you people come up with these "words" like "dirvel".
Here is what Webster's New World Dictionary has to say about "dirvel".

Driv-el: 1. To let saliva flow from one’s mouth; drool; slobber. 2. To flow from the mouth like saliva. 3. To speak in a silly or stupid manner; talk childish nonsense. v.t. 1. To let run from the mouth. 2. To say in a silly, stupid, or nonsensical manner. n. 1. Saliva running from the mouth. 2. Silly, stupid talk; childish nonsense; twaddle.

Now what are you trying to tell me.. you talk stupid or that you have saliva running out of you mouth?    Posted 11-26-2003 at 21:51:39       [Reply]  [No Email]
It's drivel not "dirvel".

Sorry........It's just my bad spelling/typing. BUT, you still didn't answer my question.
Thank you

Ok that is fair enough,
I guess you missed how it started.
I dont mind explaining.
When football season was getting started
I posted a thread titled "Are You Ready for some football??"
Well, a regular poster told me that there were other places to post that "drivel".
A few other football fans commented that the heading was sort of self explanitory.
If a person did not want to read it they could skip it.
The objector said he/she would like some warning if I posted football so he/she could not waste time reading it.
Thus that is why we put "drivel" in the football posts, just being a good neighbor. ;-)
Good enough? I love football!!

The fact that not one of the contestants has been able to name a single democratic candidate for President for weeks...

I guess those drivel fans are not interested in Democrat candidates, maybe?
Hey I predicted those games further down in another thread this morning.
Good to get a confirmation!! Yehaa! will be fun football for me and son in law tomorrow!!
I will watch the Packers win with him, then jump in the car and drive home to watch the Cowboys win.

Nah...    Posted 11-26-2003 at 15:24:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
The 'quiz' has nothing to do with sports...Glenn Beck calls 'convenience store workers' in the cities that are playing in the game and then asks 4 questions...He does a number of stores in each city and the city that wins is the team to bet on...

Or that is what they say on the show ;-)

didn't stand a chance today. Those people were barely understandable.
I notice that they did know what kind of pants Spongebob wears, though.
That guy in Green Bay had to be a ringer. He was way too smart to play moron trivia.
