i bought my wife a 40's or 50's wedgewood gas stove for has the clock and a salt and pepper shaker set mounted on top!
my problem is it is missing two knobs, yke broiler control knob and the griddle control knob.i would like to find these knobs before xmas.
do any of you folks have an old stove in your junk pile that might have these knobs on it?
i am going to try google for stove parts.
any help would be nice.
thanks PP

Go to the site below and you can find the identical knobs for your Wedgewood stove. You may have to join their club to shop...I haven't bought anything from them in quite a while. You can call them on the phone and talk to Jack Santori...he's very helpful.
Yes, I also have a Wedgewood from the early 50's and wouldn't swap it for any new one.

Every post about gas stoves reminds me of this old jokes.

short version: First time skydiver jumps outa airplane, chute doesn't open, neither does reserve chute. On the way down he meets a guy going up, says "ya know anything about parachutes?". Guy going up says "nope, ya know anything about gas stoves?"

Are the other knobs on it the same as the ones you need? Maybe you can make them. Try maybe you can use the technique they show to make new knobs.
