HI all.
I just build a wood box trailer it's 4'x4'x8' will be using it as a camping and hunting trailer to keep things in and ready to go.

what I am need is something to put on top of trailer's wood to keep it last long, something like paint with harder in it? or tin? I looked around meards for something to put on wood. am just thinking right now.

what's all your in put to keep wood last long? trailer wont be sitting outside alot notless we go camping or hunting.

the wood is 3/8 sand pine bord.

i'd either use log oil (especially on redwood) or linseed oil but they're both kinda slick for awhile. any kinda thompsons sealer works but it costs more and doesn't last any longer. i rolled linseed (cuz i had it) on my rough pine dock frame last spring, and it sits in the sun. so far so good :)
