here's one for you: last week we took buck (my 2-yr-old grandson) to the burger king playground (playroom really with giant hollow plastic cubes and a tube slide) and you've probably seen their shoe bin (like a big eggcrate on its side), where you're supposed to put your shoes and pocket stuff while you climb around. his mom whipped off his boots and stuck them into a pocket and he went off in stockings.

well after awhile i guess he figured it was time to go, so he wandered over there to get his boots. tugged and jerked but no luck, they were stuck. so why did he do this? he sat down on the floor, scooted up to the bin and inserted both feet in nearby pockets, then reached up and tried for the boots again! i mean it was cute and comical but what kinda gizmo teaches you to try that? i don't get it. :)

LOL!
Kids eh? grandkids..
Today was the Sirterklaas dutch christmas party in the intercontinental hotel here in PR.
I've been going to this party for two years now but today was the first time my daughter could come and bring her kids.
It was great. The weather is not the best these days, a lot of rain and thunders also, but we managed to have a huge crowd there.
My daughter brought her four year old son and her one and a half year old girl. We had there about 60 kids, running everywhere, riding horselike the handrails of the stairs of the huge and nice party hall..you get the picture?
My four year old grandson kept comming to me to tell me " I don't understand what they're telling me" over and over again. He speaks spanish, of course, and everybody would say hi and start a conversation with him either in dutch or english.
When we got in the car he asked me "where did they learn to talk, they should go to Little Ranch, Elizabeth, [his teacher] will teach them how to talk..."
He had a great time, though, santiklaas gave him some speed racing car kit.
Although this is not an extraordinary kind of story, is just something I wanted to share with you DC.
And..I'm going to bed now.
I'll check on you all tomorrow.
Take Care
Patria
