Poltical correctness, you know, has cut a wide swath. Don't offend the Japanese who attacked us in 1941 and now we are supposed to be careful in what we say about the Muslims who attacked us in 2001.

Well, my hat is off to all veterans, living and dead who fought and sacrificed to preserve the liberty and freedom we have today.

And, not being a politically correct person, I still say "Merry Christmas!" rather than "Happy Holidays!" To those who don't like it, I would point out that there are plenty of ways to go back to where you came from.

Wasn't a thing in our local paper remembering it.
guess those in charge of the paper are too young to think it merits mentioning. Or, maybe they don't want to stir up old wounds. I sure remember it, I was 11 at the time. Most of the young men in the neighborhood were gone, including my brother. Some didn't come back, I remember them too.

You probably won't hear much about it on the news. We must not offend anyone, you know.

You know what they need to remember is we let our gaurd down and that is why all those lives were lost! If nothing else we need to remember it can happen again. Time makes some forget but if it happens again it will be worse. Mark H.

It's easy fot me to remember Pearl Harbor, even though I wasn't born yet. It's my Dad's birthday he was 19 then. He had freinds that never came home. He thinks of Pearl Harbor whenever he sees a Japenese car. Even though it was over 60 years ago, some things you never forget.

So far I only heard a word or two about it on TV? How soon we forget! Mark H.
