Well, Happy Birthday young sprout. My oldest Grand daughter is older than you.

I'm like Mark-H, I can remember my 18th real well. I was in Korea in a shootin war, wearin Corporals stripes, had 1 year 10 days in the Army.been wounded once, had the Combat Infantrymans Badge. That was mumble mumble br, ok 46 years ago.

Mark H and Old Sarge THe first big construction job I worked on a year out of college these 2 summer workers had gotten out of school and were mad they didnt get a senior trip after they graduated and had to go to work. One of my friends an older fella said thats too bad he said I got to take my senior trip courtesy Uncle Sam to South East Asia. That stopped all the complaints.

That was my first trip right out of AIT after being in the Army for 16 wks + 2 Wks leave and a week of Veitnam Training. They sent 2 of us out of the group and the rest went to Germany. I think it had something to do with a Sargent holding a knife at my throat once and I told him to cut it. Boy he was mad and got even ,did not relise I wanted to go to Vietnam instead of Germany just like my brother did befor me. The other guy was a Gambler who had won a lot of money off the guys! Mark H.
