98 Percent Sure (About the House)

Well, it all looks good, the lenders need a few more pieces of paper, so I will be getting that together tomorrow. Lisa, the loan officer says she is 98 persent sure it's gonna happen for us. We are supposed to meet Saturday to put in an offer. I will have that other 2 percent taken care of by tomorrow afternoon.

Ian is still looking for an excuse not to move. I keep reassuring him it will be okay. It will be the best thing that could happen to this family to get out of this retched city! :)

THANKYOU to all who prayed and crossed fingers and all that, it worked! :)

I will let y'all know how things progress from here on in. Of course I guess I will be absent a lot on here, since I got to get to fixing up this house to put on the market asap! I am addicted to y'all though, so when I take breaks, it will be on here.

and what happens when someone comes along between now and Sat and puts in a offer ahead of you? Yyou could always put in a offer contigent upon getting financing in order to seal the deal.
I think if it was me and I wanted the place I would put in a contract of purchase now and begin the negoitions now rather than waiting on Getting financed approved only to see someone else come-a-long. Then if Financing was not approved nothing lost.

Nobody is going to, there is nobody else currently looking at it, and we went and visited with the people that live there, and she was a little panicky because they haven't found a home, so we talked about it, and it works out good for both of us to take it slow. They have 3 kids, and we talked about how we both need some prep time. See, our house will be paid off in March, so we are going to sell this house, get the loan, and by that time they should be ready, and so should we. I won't go into why we have to pay the house off first. Its a long boring story about a father in law who was trying to help, and kinda screwed us. Take my word on it, its not worth repeating, it will just get my dander up! lol :)

Well just dont fell hurt when someone with CASH come along and offers to buy it on the spot. Remember you are less that two hours from Atlanta and guess where people are moving too. The Country. As a Real Estate agent let me asure you that money talks and in waiting you may loose that dream.

Well, if somebody with cash comes and snatches it up, so be it. There will be others. The real estate agent said when people would come out to see it, they got all persnickity and didn't like the fact that is was half a mile down a dirt road. Its not all la dee da like people want in Henry County. But we like it. I already told them, if someone comes along and does that, so be it.

what about earnest money? good intentions aside, i wouldn't really guarantee a buyer anything unless i knew their money was green - most people toss a sizable sum out there to validate their offer :)

Yep, got the earnest money thing covered. Forgot to mention that. They want 500 dollars, cool with me.
