Took a drive up to northern MA and bought 2 Quadractors for myself. Have always wanted one and look forward to getting them and starting the restoration process. Also the people were real nice and a pleasure to heave met them. Great to take a day off also.

Randy, I was reading the posts to A Good Day. It brought back some memories. I was stationed at Ft Devens from late 1968 to mid 1973. My son was born at the old post hospital Jan 6, 1971. My wifecame up with me in Jan 70 after I went on leave and got married-I think it was the first time she had been out of the state of Mississippi. We didn't have no money, but we had a lot of good times in Mass and memories. Gas was cheap then and we did a lot of sight seeingin MA, NH, VT, ME, & NY. This time of year was my favorite time up there even when we had field duty. Just thought I'd share that with you. Lancer

Nice and sunny but windy and cold here. Doubt if it got up to 20.
How is it fair that you went from none to two of those things? ";^)
Since Mass. is sorta oriented east/west, I have a hard time to figger out just where "northern" Mass. would be. My wife is from Haverhill, which is right on the NH line but I suppose your spot could be in the other end of the state and still be "northern".

I got on RT 91 in Hahtfahd and stopped just a bit before Brattleboro. Still had snow on the ground there.
Saw them Quadractors when I was a lad riding around in VT and always wanted one. He happened to have 2 so,.....
Anywhere in MA is north for me!

You musta been up in around Deerfield or Greenfield. Did you see the big Motel 6? I've stayed there a time or two. Usually when we go south, we get gas somewhere near there so we won't have to in CT or NY where the price always seems to be much higher.

Yes, got off Greenfield exit. Real nice up that way. But they talk a bit funny.

I can get it for 20 cents cheaper than that. Even more in some places.

Usually when we're coming home via I-81 and 84, we get off in Milford, PA or Port Jervis, NJ so we get a better price. In NJ, you're not allowed to pump your own. That station right off the exit there where NY, PA and NY meet does a brisk business.
