to everyone for the well wishes. Although the plant won't officially close until end of June, I fully expect to be layed off much sooner. Possibly as soon as Jan.

Look at it this way you did not have a job when you got the last one. It opens up opertunitys for some time off and maybe another job better than the last one. Think positive it will work. Mark H.

in aircraft we used to invariably get pink slips in december - called it our christmas goose! i remember one year at lockheed they brought cases of new work orders over and stashed them in our area, then sure enough they swung the axe. most guys came back and worked those orders by february, the rest found real jobs. oh heck all our kids were growing up anyway - this way we got to enjoy them :)

Try not to let it get you down. Celebrate the holidays for all they're worth. Things have to get better next year.
