I was wondering if you'd had any luck getting your medicine cheap or free. I hope you were able to get at least one or two inhalers from your doctor. Keep in touch and let us know how you're doing on your quest! Take care.

Debbie,I've got a few samples of combivent,but
have had no luck locating anything from Canada.
The places I've found require you to be there
in person. My wife and I pay $6000.00 a year in
health insurance and still buy our own medicine.
We had an individual policy with Blue cross for
over 20 years, were told to tranfer to a group
policy to save money, then they cancelled the
whole group. Thanks For your consern.

Glad to hear you got some samples, at least. Good luck on the rest. Keep in touch with your doctor's office. Sometimes they can ask the rep to bring specific samples, most of the time it's up to whatever the company's main marketing push is at the time.

That's awful about the insurance. I learned when working at a home health agency, that when you retire, you had better be one or the other - either wealthy or poor. The wealthy don't have to worry about the cost of their health care, and the poor can qualify for Medicaid and get it for free. Those of us stuck in the middle class seem destined for a life of fending for ourselves....

God bless you and best of luck...
