I'm staying home! For a couple of years I've been threatening to paddle on over and mooch off of Patria and family for the winter. Now I see this and decided I ain't so sure I wanna go.

hi , Gerrit nice to finally meet you , patria,s been telling us about you forever it seems.please join us always could use more good folks on here, ya i know theres lots of water in between but we,re all so full of hot air we could probably float over with no problems, how do you like PR compared to your old home, im in canada so i would imagine our winters were similar, i think i could sure get use to the warm especially this time of the .catch you later.

Hey Toolman:
Hope she's been telling only the good things about me...
I love PR! It's one of the best places to live. As you know I'm originally from Holland. The climate there kinda sucks - I've hated it all my life. Patria and me were just talking about that people in Europe always seem to talk about the weather, they know the actual temperatures, the forecast and so on.. Here I wouldn't even know the temperature; it's warm anyways.. You get up in the morning, put on a pair of shorts and and a tee shirt and you're all set! The Puerto Rican people are really nice and friendly. I don't feel like a gringo at all!
( gringo = foreigner or something.. )

Take care, Gerrit
