Just bought a wood cookstove, need advice on restoring it. It has been sitting in a barn for several years so is dirty and rusty.

Lilly, I don't know alot about restoring cook stoves. I would guess the best way to remove rust is wire brush. They make a high temperature paint in a few colors. You'll need that once you have the rust off. Does it have any chrome like the fancier models or is it mostly black? I wish I could be more help.
