Readin the Deficate & Criminal today in the docs office while I was waiting, and the Red Crooks have a full page ad, picture of some old fart with a caption reading how he don't care about all the mud bein slung at the Red Cross, he's glad he contributed.
Well, I was glad I wasn't eatin or drinkin when I ssaw that. Last I heard, a full page ad in the D&C cost $20,000.
Seems like these people are completely without shame. Does Bill Clinton have a job at the Red Cross? Maybe Jessy's workin there too.

Franz all these outfits spend a good portion of their available funds on advertising. Seems thats the only way they can con more people into sending donations their way. The reason outfits like the Red Crook advertise in them high dollar publications is they now it will hit the affluent fools who got enough money to subscribe to the thing. But you'll rarely see any ads from them in the Hominy Holler Weekly.
I am a firm believer and supporter of the NRA, but if they used healf the money they spend asking for donations on actually working towards gun owners rights, we would all be legally allowed to carry govt. supplied tommy guns. When I belonged to the NRA it got to the point where I would get letters at least twice and sometimes 3 times a week asking for a donation. Now figure it up if the do that with the few million NRA members all the time, the cost of postage alone is astronomical, let alone what it costs for paper, envelopes, and "administrative staff" to process all this garbage. Like I said all these organizations good or bad spend megabucks on advertising trying to hook another buck from somewhere.
