Hi Jenny,
First, lets get rid of the wise guys and then we'll deal with the skunks. O.K., you can either kill the skunks ( they smell like grandma's bloomers) or you can make them take up residence elsewhere. I like the second choice. If you are in the country (away from paid pest get-rid-of folks) you got to do it yourself. I like an air driven spray duster, hand cranked or otherwise, to blow something under the house that the skunks won't like. If I could get DDT (you can't) that is what I would use. However, try Malathone(sp?) It smells almost as bad as the skunk, but won't last as long. Before you start, I suggest you check with your state CooP. Extention Service for advice. Major Universities are involved throughtout the U.S. with these folks. They know what they are talking about.
Good luck.

You are out of touch...Grandma hasn't worn bloomers since the early 50's....You would be surprised how young us Grandmas really are today!!

Jenny- Catch the skunks out in the yard and down wind and use 'em for target practice. They gotta come out to eat and drink, but it'll probably be at nite. The smell is bad, but the possibility of rabies is much worse, so handle the carcus only if wearing disposable rubber gloves. Good luck, IHank
