They are over. Guess it is time to go looking for a new job. Anybody got any bricks they need layed?

DC, what he's talking about is not "face brick" work like building a brick house. He's talking about "fire brick" work. As in what is called Refractory work where they shut down a section of a plant of some sort, most of the time it's chemical plants or oil refinerys, and the fire brick layers go in and refurbish the lining in a vessal that requires a heat resistant surface as provided by various kinds of "firebrick." They've got those plants lit up like daylight and they operate 24/7.

Pretty slack time of year for bricklayers here in NH where our motto is "Live, Freeze and Die".
