Child Abuse?

I sure see a bunch of posts re: Child abuse. I'm gonna discount MJ, cause that puppy just ain't part of the human race, and the true abuse there is with the courts that allow him to be in the same county as children.
As for old krikey Croc man, I have to wonder if he's really doing anything worse than half of the soccer moms that drive their kids around?
Ever see one of them with their "baby on board" sticker in the window, pull out in front of a truck, or pass a vehicle and then pull in front so close that no one could stop?
Ever see the dad that tells his kid, "You have as much right to the road as cars do? You ride your bike right there in that lane!"
Mostly what I see is a media, with a slant, a country that has lost control of it's children, and most likely its common sense.
If I had dollar for every mother I've seen in a store that's afraid to dicipline their screaming 6 year old, I could take a year off, and when I do finally see one that will do it, I usually give a big nod of approval.
I'm thinking that the busy body do gooders have finally won over reason and the ability of parents to raise their children.
For me I think it's time for the world to MYOB, and if the press has nothing better to cover, they might as well replace the news with something like queer eye for the straight guy, at least it sells commercials.
Later
Ron

I agree! Child abuse is letting your kids watch the TV, and surf on the net, chat lines, etc., exposes them to everything, pornography, violence etc. What was an X-rated film 20 years ago is now an "R" rated movie called "Bad Santa", just for a small eaxample. If people don't agree with this, then they are not paying attention as to what their kids are exposed too or just don't care.

Caring is sort of like work.
It takes effort and time.
