The worth of our live comes not by what we do or who we know but by who we are!!!!

( who believed majority rule was long obsolete ) "Debating that is as pointless as making soup from the shadow of a pigeon that died of starvation." :)

Abe Lincoln

of Mr. Douglasí arguments, he said he found them ďas thin as the homeopathic soup that was made by boiling the shadow of a pigeon that had starved to death.Ē

reminds me of a lincoln story: we were admiring a painting of honest abe at mt rushmore when suzn mentioned that years ago, artists painted with such faithful colors and detail that some medical guy had studied lincoln's hands and suggested that they appeared rather jaundiced and so he might have had liver problems. like men sometimes do, i was half listening, so i thought for a brief moment and replied "That is interesting - what did he finally die of anyway?" :)

My favorite, and what I read everyday......

"Do just once what others say you canít do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again."

Judge a man by what he does, and not by what he says.

"tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life"; it sounds as dumb today as it did 40 yrs. ago.

Do not count the things you do but do the things that count. I believe the worth of our lives is in the fact we are created in God's image and by what Christ has done for us.

Our worth is determined by how much we do just because and simply because it is the right thing to do.

RIGHT IS RIGHT EVEN IF NO ONE DOES IT AND WRONG IS STILL WRONG EVEN IF EVERYONE IS DOING IT
