Click on start, find, files & folders, the date tab. Put a dot in "find all files", then the down arrow, select, created. Then pick your date range. Post back if you need more help.

Ayuh...    Posted 01-12-2004 at 10:25:52       [Reply]  [No Email]
Either that or go back to the site where you DL'ed it, start to DL again, but when it asks you if you want to save it in the 'default' folder...PAY ATTENTION...Write down the name of the folder and the file name...Then hit 'CANCEL' so you are not DL'ing for 3 more hours...

After you find and install the driver because you WROTE IT DOWN...Call your phone company and get DSL!!!

walt    Posted 01-12-2004 at 10:29:20       [Reply]  [No Email]
Good tip, Salmoneye.
Yea, I meant to include downloading something else and see where it goes.. DSL...heck. I think my phone company is still with tin cans and a string. I'll never get DSL where I live..

Sorry...    Posted 01-12-2004 at 10:36:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
I forget that I live near the biggest city in the state...Think the population is almost up to 40,000 now LOL

Salmoneye, Who Thinks It Is Time To Move, But Would Miss His DSL Most Of All

walt    Posted 01-12-2004 at 10:45:21       [Reply]  [No Email]
That is crazy. I live 15miles from a city of 100,000 and cant get DSL.

Cindy, If you installed the driver, it should show up under the control panel then printers as a installed printer. If there are more than two printers installed on your machine, you need to decide which one you want to be your default printer. otherwise you will have to select a printer from the dropdown list each time you go to print if this new printer is not our default one. If this does not help ask back.

where did you find the driver?

Cindi    Posted 01-12-2004 at 09:50:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
I downloaded it off of a site that has free printer driver software. I can't remember the name of it and I have already closed it. It gives me the message ...Windows cannot find PROGRAM.exe

It says it's an HQX file?

Sorry, Cindi. Just a lame attempt at humor.
Remember the TV show "Taxi"? That is a line that "Reverend Jim" spoke. Sort of an "inside joke" I suppose.

Oh. Lol~! Okay. I get it now. I think my humor program is also somehow defunct. I am frustrated.
