i just spent maybe 15 minutes researching/reading political stuff, i'm bored already and my net conclusion was: i wish the darn thing was over, there are a multitude of more interesting things to read about.
for example, how are we the people going to shuffle thru this blizzard of (mis)information and come out intact? how are we supposed to chat about gardens when there are contless millions of dollars screaming at us to choose something we only have a 1/180-millionth voice in anyway? for my part, i think i'll sit back, see how it turns out, then see how it affects me. if the past is any indicator, all the hoopla will only amount to "housing starts vs defence spending" anyway. i'm already retired and nobody's chomping at the bit to pay my medical bill so have fun. just ordered tomato seeds for the windowsill though :)

I had two class buddies killed in Viet Nam. Jeff Straface from Suncrest Flatts Jr. High School in Morgantown, WV, and Leslie Rembert from Gainesville High School in Gainesville, FL.
We owe it to them and others to do the best we can to get info and decide on one and vote.
And to get others to do the same.
All the best!

I agree that evryone needs to vote, but you can research/pay attention all that you want and they are all a bunch of corrupt big $$ liers. You are left to choose from the "Evils" that "they" chose to give you to choose from. There needs to be an "None Of the Above" on every issue on the ballot!

[x].. None of the Above

What you can do in the mean time is if a canidate appears under more that one party don't vote for them on the Dem/Rebup ticket choose another party. Maybe if we get enough funding shifted to a third party the other two will wake up.
