Do Possum Fish? I have a pond with goldfish, something has been eating them and I saw possum hiding under a foot bridge crossing my pond. Can someone let me know if this is my preditor?
Thanks,
Bruce

My dad used to hold a spot light on em and send me out behind the critter, then when close enuff I would yell at him and make him play dead, all that's left at that point is to grab em by the tail and put it in a box for when your ready for it. The good old days.

Here in MO, our fur-bearer season started yesterday, which makes possums fair game, but nobody says a word if'n ya off 'em a little sooner. hides ain't worth nothing, but if ya clean em right, and cook em right.........

In most states there is a season on possums, however if they are a nuisance you can usually get by with exterminating them. Ya might give your county animal control people a call and see what they can tell you.

I really had a good laugh at your reply. Whatever happened to the HE-MAN of yesteryear. No one can do anythng for themselves. All these laws, not like When I lived in Ar.in the good old days
Years out on the North Prarie taught me to do for myself in these matters,no o'possums there.

Now back in the south with these varmints coming in on the back porch to eat you cat and dog food and you have to contact your pest control.

I may be 71,but a hatchet and a rat terrior can do the job and I can get back to bed knowing I wont have to bother with that one again.

Call me P K.
