People who shouldn't vote
[Return to Topics]

Living in New Hampshire with our first-in-the-nation primary, it has given me much opportunity to peruse our political landscape. It has occurred to me that far too many stupid people vote in elections. These people are totally to blame for all that is wrong in this country, as they are the folks who continue to put people like Ted Kennedy back in office. They screw things up for us who actual pay attention to politics and know what is going on.
As many of you are not as astute as I in identifying these folks, I present the following list of identifiers. Once I am in power, here or a country to be named later, anyone who is identified as one of the following people will be disenfranchised. Repeat offenders will be shot.

Stupid people who should not be allowed to vote:

People who watch infomercials
People who buy from infomercials
People who appear on infomercials
People who have anything to do with infomercials
People who watch daytime talk shows
People who appear on daytime talk shows
People who host daytime talk shows
People who drive pickups, but are afraid to use the bed, for fear of damaging it
People who drive SUVs with brush-guards on the front, but live in big cities
People who wear clothing with the manufacturers name on the OUTSIDE
People who think Bill Clinton was a great president
People who, when you’re the only car on the road, pull out in front of you, only to turn off 100 yards later
People who play their car radio so loud, it can be heard in the next county
People who listen to rap music in any form
People who perform rap music in any form
People who wait to fill out their checks, until after the cashier has scanned every item and grand totaled the transaction
People who, waiting in line, wait until they are at the order window to decide on their choice
People who are undecided on a candidate on election day
People in Massachusetts east of I-495

You are encouraged to make your own recommendations to me. I will take them under advisement. If you disagree with the foregoing-tough. Be careful, or I may add your personal name to the list.
I can't believe how much I rule. :-)

I guess my Carhartt jacket , and a life long Republican who has never voted for any Dumdocrat and never will and lives south east of 495 is enough to have me throw out of the gene pool .. so be it ...wonder how many I can take with me for you ?
Bill G.
guilty as charged ..

Brian,

To start out, there is no such thing as rap music. There is either rap or music. They are mutually exclusive. Amen to the list but I might make one modification to it. Instead of filling out a check, why not good old cash? And to the woman who loved Clinton. Let me say that I am ashamed that the USA fell to such depths that we elected that miserable excuse for a human. He set morals back 1000000000000 years.

rap is not music .only m/f noise in my book

Terry,
I agree with you on the music, for actual real music reasons. I was told real music has 3 items which I can never remember (harmony, rhythm and something else). Someone musical help me out.
Bottom line-even if you like it-it isn't music.

People who think Rush Limbaugh is right up there with God.
There's a reason his followers are called 'Ditto Heads'. Sheeple would be more appropriate. LOL!!

You remind me a lot of Alice, the main character of the novel Los Renglones Torcidos De Dios by Torcuato De Luca, but without doubt, you are funnier.

I agree with most of what you wrote, disagree with some and don't understand some. Overall though its a good reflection on today's society and kinda funny.

I have watched this board drop any mentality at all. now you are thinking in Gw thohghts. You must realize that this country was founded on free spheech. Everybody has a right to an oponion but most of you on board have taken that that don,t pertain to some of you and you feel as if you are god . I wqon,t judge but I will admit some of you couldn,t get in kindergarden in todays schools. I don,t care what you believe but hacve the couresty not to make the board all one of seven people Thank you and good nite

see i was right you can,t read end of discussion you play your games. I hope you ruin this board too

~Lenore    Posted 01-13-2004 at 13:30:11       [Reply]  [No Email]
...can't (whoever you are) will you be terribly disappointed if....
"I hope you ruin this board too,"
....that does not happen?
I keep getting undertones of some ugly feelings and I do not understand them.
Some boards have a method of deleting a thread you have started. This one does not; so it is impossible to say "end of discussion" and expect it.

Wouldn't the right to free speech allow me to promote my thougts even if I did think I was god?
Does free speech only apply to things that you agree with?
Do you understand that in this country Hitler would have the same free speech rights that the pope would have?
Just kickin away an afternoon
Ron

That AOL account of yours is not allowing you to get the gist of the humour in these posts...

Get a real ISP and all will be well...

Good thing me, Kid Rock, and Eminem don't live in New Hampshire! Maybe if the politicians had a little more "thump thump" in their lives it would jog all that wax out of their ears! heeheehee

Brian you got my vote. Any body that shares my dislike for Teddy K is alright in my book.
