Check out this article from my local paper re: a presentation from a colonel on what he saw in Iraq.

Too bad the slideshow isn't online least not yet.

I read the article on Iraq.It really amazes me that when you watch the news, they rarely show any of the nice things that are happening,even in a war. Those only want us to hear how bad things are there and how many are killed. I would like to hear more about people helping each other, no matter what country they are from.

Nice article. I too am disgusted by most news channels that apparently feel only negative news creates a larger audience. I usually tune in on FOX Cable News where I find what is happening in Iraq on both the negative and positive fronts. You would think that News channels would pick up on the fact that Americans are behind this war and that the best source on improvements of every day life come from the men and women serving in Iraq. Party politics can really cloud the minds of the ill imformed.
