Keep a watch out for people standing near you at retail stores, restaurants, grocery stores, etc., that have a cell phone in hand. With the new camera cell phones, they can take a picture of your credit card, which gives them your name, number, and expiration date. Identification theft is one of the fastest growing scams today, and this is just another example of the means that are being used. So ... be aware of your surroundings

If some one steals you're identity and you catch up to them and kill them.
Are you guilty of, murder or suicide?

Wow! some people must have a lot of time on their hands to dream up those kinds of things to fret about. Seems to me like there's a lot of easier ways to get credit card data than to try snaping pics of a card with a cell phone.
Credit card fraud and identity theft are very real problems, but I doubt that pics of my credit cards are a great threat.

Must be for people with bad memories. Seems like it'd be easier to just look at the card and remember the info. I ain't seen one of them photo cell phones that had decent picture quality yet. I'd have a hard time believing they could get anything off a card unless they were real close. But then, a lotta folks are desperately in need of something else to be paranoid about.

I don't need anything else to be paranoid about. I already have a full plate.

Well, there are a lot of people that don't need the photo cell phones. Someone is using my (retarded) daughter's SS# and a bogus address to finance a $90,000.00 house somewhere in Florida. Found out after we moved here, so I am trying to unravel this mess long distance. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all!
