it stayed at 20 below and was windy yesterday - windchill into the -40s. even josh puttsied around the house and once we got the van running he even accepted a ride home. this moprning i got up to stoke the stove but that was over an hour and 2 cups of coffee ago and i still haven't dared peek outside. the gas heater claims i don't have to and my cold legs insist i shouldn't, so that's enough whining, i'd better.. :)

Today, I learned how far an empty trash can will go over frozen ice and snow. Why can't they, just once, blow in the direction of my house.

George aka Alias, also know as, the not always politically correct, gfp. Stay warm, stay happy and above all, stay loose.

As I watched my wife wade thru a foot of snow in 10 weather going to the garage to go to work .
I said Sure glad I don't have to get out in this stuff . She looked back and I'm sure she gave me "THE LOOK" Kinda makes you blood run cold ya know .
Now I gotta go out and do chores

west virginia here. it's 30 this morning but it has snowed yet again. i have shoveled to the chicken coop at least 12 times this month and i don't remember how many times last month.i guess i shouldn't complain because now that the chikens, cats and dogs are fed i can stay inside where it's warm.
