People blame Bush for jobs going overseas. Give me a brake, you act like he can keep them in this country by Gun point, In this capitalist society the consumer sets the price. You can find wich countrys are moving over seas and boycott them. You'll see how soon they move back. And the main reason there moving out can bee blamed on the Democrats, like Taxes,Ridicules Enviremental laws ect...........

Number 2 Everybody says the econimy is bad because of Bush, But ye of forgetful minds, when he was swarn in there was a resesion going on, yes there have bean jobs lost because when the economy starts going down jobs is the last thing that goes down and when the economy goes up jobs are the last thing to go up,

Number 3 Health Care, When has it bean the Goverments job to buy Health Care for every one last time I checked the Sovit Union had fallen(Thanks to Ronald Ragen) and we didnt live there any way. And the reason why Health care is so high is Because all these STUPID law suits over stupidity done by the people out there. Bush talked about that last night, These Liberall judjes need to be replaced with ones that have some common sence.

Number 4 The rich are beeing deeminized, Last time i check the most of rich people didnt start out that way, most got there by hard work and ideas that they had, This is America you can dreem as big as you want to, The bigger the risk the bigger the reward.

Bush would have my vote,But I'm not old enogh to vote. Cant wait till i can It will be in 3 years

I feel that to better get your views across about the government, is first to learn how to spell. It makes you look like you don't have very much knowledge about what's going on when you spell been-(bean), economy-(econimy). So to better get you point across you should spell correctly.

Silas, by the looks of your post I would ask for my money back from the school system you attended cause they sure failed on your behalf. And you can vote in three years, that is scarey--big time.

britt    Posted 07-06-2004 at 19:52:36       [Reply]  [Send Email]
By the looks of how you mispelled scary-(scarey) you should get your money back from your schooling.

"In this capitalist society the consumer sets the price."

WRONG.. Jobs are leaving due to the high cost of insurance, utilities, wages. Unions have done more to kill jobs here in the US than any other factor. By demanding more and more from a company that company has no choice but raise prices to meet the demands their unionized workers or go out of business.

"Health Care, When has it bean the Governments job to buy Health Care for every one last time I checked the Soviet Union had fallen.."

WRONG.. Germany does not have such a thing as Health care insurance. The government pays for all health care in that country. The doctors have a set limit which they can charge for services and the government pays the doctor. Anyone can walk into a hospital or doctors office. Be taken care of and not have to worry about payment nor insurance claims.

Sent 87 billion dollars to Iraq, 3.4 million to Demark so that they can have a machine to test imported scrape metal for chemicals. Which by the way Denmark had been doing for years.
Lied to the people of the US to get a war started with Iraq. Now he has no way out of it and no end in site. So Americans will continue to die for no reason at all. Now he has to keep pumping money into that bottomless pit. While we have people here in the US that goes to bed hungry, can not afford health care for their children, have no job and some no warm house to live in.

He is in trouble and knows it.
Why else would he buy the vote of the immigrant population by trying to pass a law making illegal immigrants "Legal"?
He tried to buy the black populations vote.He had never went to Martin Luther Kings tomb to lay a reef or pay tribute until he wanted money for his campaign. That backfired.
So now he buys the AERO space workers vote with his Moon Money dreams. Could the billions of dollars that he wants to waste putting a man on Mars be better spent improving the failing education system, health care and the entire infrastructure of the US?

You can dream as large as you wish. Just like the people running Wal-Mart. They had large dreams. That is why you can not find products that use to be made in the US in their stores now days. They spent over 35 billion in China alone setting up warehouses and transportation system to bring their slave waged products here with no regards to the American workers that loose their job because they can not compete with 3 world countries. Here is you something to think about. One county alone in NC lost over 10,000 jobs that use to produce textiles (clothing) due to Wal-Mart stopped buying their products because they could get them cheaper from Mexico, China, Pakistan etc. What has Wal-Mart done for America besides take good jobs from Americans that have kids to feed and bills to pay? 10,000 from one county in one state. A company that makes well over a BILLION Dollars in profits in the US would rather import slave labor than to pay Americans a good wages to work for them.

I am glad that you are not old enough to vote. For when you get old enough to live on your own and vote a thing called REAL WORLD REALITY will slap you in the face and it will be a rude awaking. Meanwhile enjoy the comforts that your parents struglle to provide you with now. For they will not be around forever. Maybe after you finish college Wal-Mart will have a job waiting for you.

britt    Posted 07-06-2004 at 19:51:02       [Reply]  [Send Email]
You shouldn't jsut pick apart Bush about sending money here and there but in The U.S. The American people only get there information from the media. The media is propaganda. They only tell you what they want you to hear and what will stir people up. So do your homework, reasearch, and what about the funds set up on t.v. for kids across the world. Doctors that go over to poor, third world countries and doctor children. Should they be picked apart also? They go over to other countries to help people. While what you said is people go to bed every night hungry. They could be over here feeding people. So don't just pick and choose who you are going to judge.

You should know that Bush didn't try to buy the African-Americans. Many Presidents before him did and also Clinton did it big time. If you could do it better run for President.

Well I can tell you that virtually all the union members I work with will not be voting Democrat. Some of them even have Republican bumper stickers on their pickups.
Those unions sure did help Gephart and Dean in Iowa, didn't they?

well... ya know les    Posted 01-21-2004 at 19:05:54       [Reply]  [Send Email]
i travel around the u.s quite a bit and it seems if you see union, you see democrats.
what you have said is the first i have heard of union voting republican.?
oh well maybe i am not seeing the big picture?

big fred    Posted 01-21-2004 at 20:19:14       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm a union member, in a heavily Democrat state (Washington) and I would estimate about 80-90% of the membership in my union vote Republican. Of course we aircraft and aerospace engineers are generally a pretty conservative bunch.

My, aren't we encouraging to the young feller. Sounds like he's got his head screwed on pretty well straight.
Silas, when I was your age, I had to wait six years before I could vote. I'm glad you take it seriously. Keep thinking for yourself and learning all you can. You won't go wrong.

Sorry but I think things will be down for 5-10 years, and by then social security will be upside down. And since our gummit has spent the approx 2 trillion dollars of surplus we have paid in. More taxes will be collected to pay guaranteed social security benefits. At a reduced rate of course :)

Silas    Posted 01-21-2004 at 10:15:37       [Reply]  [No Email]
I forgot to mention Taxes, I'm going to screem when I here some body saying tax cuts for the rich
If you cut Taxes by 10% Some one paying 100,000 dollers in Taxes every year will get back 10,000 but some one parying only 1,000 in taxes will get back 100 dollers. That mkes perfect sence to me.

Keep an open mind Silas. Even Republicans make mistakes. It's like a pendulum, back-n-forth, back-n-forth. This holds true for allot of things, More liberal Vs. more conservative, depending on what the country needs at the time. This is why I consider myself an Independant although the last few National Elections I have voted Republican. It depends on what you feel the country needs and how far right or left it has gone. It depends on the candidate and his/her past character, experience & personal, not party platform. Yup, just keep an open mind and realize that certain networks and other news media are always bias. Read, but be aware of who printed it and why.

You sound smart enought to me to Vote! A lot of people I know much older than you should have the right to vote rejected. Pretty good head on your sholders for being 15 years old! Mark H.

Willy, its like I've said before. There's nothing that I dislike more in a man or woman than blind faith. When I first registered to vote, I do so as a republican. Why?, because my father was a republican. But, I can tell you that I have crossed the line on many occassions. Now, maybe my choices weren't always the best, but they were all mine. For always, I voted based on my own pre-determinations and not because someone wanted me to.
