Up at 5AM. Th weather was doing nothing. About 6:30 high winds came up. Temp 25 deg and snow going by on the horizontal. Visability down to about 100 yards. Ocasional lightning in there also. This aint not fun, It can quit at any time now.

That stuff is on its way here.
I just finished a book by Bill Bryson, who lives in Hanover NH. He said New England has 3 seasons:
Winter just left
Winter is coming
If the temperature and wind chill ever get back over 20, I may don a pair of shorts and have a barbecue.

Yup, just got to work, first major "white knuckler" of the year. It took about 1.25 hours to get here (normally 40 min.) The only time I could tell which lane of Rt 400 I was in was when the lightning flashed.
Can't wait for the drive home, it ought to be just as much fun.

Ain't any better down this way. can't hardly see the trucks 50 ft away. haven't seen lightning though. Mike Cicka said isn't gonna be any better. be careful out there Wisereder, Dave. I know I'm not gonna go anywhere. Hubby works in Wyoming county, suppose to go to Hamburg, hopefully not.
