How can I market my small farm best?

Unfortunately, I need to sell my small farm/ranch. Not sure what my best bet is, as I am hoping to really get someone interested in living in the country. I prefer not to go through a real estate office just yet, as I don't want to take a hit, and I have only been here for about a year.

Any creative ideas on where I might place an ad for maximum visibility?

Take out a small inexpensive ad in a few papers or local magazines. Don't assume that the only people who might be interested are certain types (farmers, rancher, ect..) There are lots of people who had to leave the country life and are now longing to return. I see it all the time. Of course word of mouth, posting in stores, feed mills, ect..is excellent. Thats free advertisement! I would also try looking to see if there are any free advertisement boards in your area that list on the internet. Good luck to you.

If all else fails list it on Ebay :>)

Depending where you are, you might try putting notices in the feed stores. People who have farms and live in the coountry tend to know people who are looking to do the same.
