How do you tell if you get one?
Hotmail & Yahoo emails are not actually in your computer;
so can you get one through Yahoo or Hotmail email box?
...or is Outlook Express mail the only one susceptable?
Computers can make me feel so dumb at times.

As long as you didn't open anything from Hotmail, Yahoo. You're ok. Yahoo has a pretty good virus system, not sure how well Hotmail works. Look here for more info.

Walt, I am a simple girl.
When you say "open" do you mean open an attachment or just looking at an email?

Lenore, from one blond to another, I just delete ALL mail, unread, when I don't know who sent it.

You're not blonde are you? Just kidding. If all you're doing is looking at your inbox, no problem. If it comes with the attachment, you can open the mail, just don't open the attachment. This new worm is especially bad, because in addition to going into the persons address book to forward, it also uses one of the addresses to use as the sender. So who ever the sender is, may not even be infected.

~Lenore ... a blonde, yes I am! LOL
I just seem to have a problem with tech terms; I am intimidated by that language. I can handle English and French fairly well but tech is challenging to me.
