Darn it all.

I just composed a really long post about a recent police encounter I had.
I clicked it and noticed a couple of minor spelling errors.
So I clicked back to correct the errors and it was Gone!!!

You ever have this happen to you???

TB has it right...

I sometimes 'compose' in 'notepad' and cut and paste...

When that happens click forward immediately and it will take you back to the preview page where at least you can copy it.

Yes, and I am always scared to go back if mine is long, so I just don't. I figure I will be excused for the errors. :)

unless it's a quick comment, i like to type into my notebook and then copy/paste to the net. i can correct spelling plus it gives me a copy to save, cuz suzn likes to read my writing at her leisure. and hey why not, lot cheaper than tabloids! :)

Yup. But sometimes I can click forward and be able to cut and past it.

I will try to remember to do that. Sometimes going back works and other times it does not. I have sometimes copied my post before I go back (just in case). So if it disappeared I could just paste it and try again. Thanks for the tip of clicking forward, I'll try it next time.
