To Whom It May Concern:

I have a picture of my 83 year old dad who still lives on
the home place on a farm in NW Iowa. He is 6'1" and is
standing by the cornfield, which looks almost twice as
tall as he is. I am wondering if you know of anyone who
would be interested in seeing this picture to possibly
publish in their magazine or if you know of any
organization that might be interested in this type of
picture. I do not have a digital camera, but could send
the picture in the mail.

Please respond one way or another. People are
amazed by the luscious tall green corn and it's a neat
picture of my dad (an old-time farmer with his overalls

Thanks for considering how this picture might be used.

Send it to "Country Magazine". They have contests for pictures. My daughter sent a picture of her Highland Cow and Calf she took and got it into the Magazine and it is being voted on this month for a 100.00 prize and a posible big shoping spree or something like that. These magazines like to get those kind of photos. Mark H.

Thanks Willy. Would you please give me the address of Country Magazine? I used to get the magazine, but can't seem to find a copy of it right now. Should I send it to anyone's attention or department?

You may try contacting Southern States. They are a Farm supply company that has locations in many states. The print out calenders, magazines, sales flyers etc. They have a store located in Lincoln.

Or maybe contact the seed supplier. They are always interested in huge crops from their seed. The also advertise by in store posters, flyers, and in magazines. Bt Corn, Deklab, Garst etc.

Check the link below for SS.

Try looking up the Tri-State Neighbor on the web, they are out of Yankton, SD and put out a nice publication twice a month and always have an old time picture on a certain page. I live between Remsen and Kingsley, was you father near here? My dad just turned 90 today! I visited him in the care facility, he has alzheimers.
