My son had an electrician look at his problem with the arc fault and he found an outlet that was arching. Apparently a few small nicks in the wires in the outlet box.The breaker was fried beyond use and apparently the arc faults are in short supply as electrician had to use standard breaker untill he gets new stock. My son is thankful for the education, a very nice electrician and that the builder agreed to cover the repair cost.

Great and even better that the breaker did what it was supposed to do. Nice the Contractor picked up the Bill. Mark H.
