Small Fire, Small Toddy Christmas

As my father used to say, the weather was absolutely "delicious" today. About 73 degrees at noon. The wife and I decided that today was to be for anything we liked.(very unusual-no mandatory chores). O.K., I decided to do something with the 8N for fun. Put the boom on and hauled up a couple of oak trees that I didn't need for our sundown outside fire. Took an afternoon nap and made a fire in the old syrup kettle while the sun was sinking. Fed the pups and poured the toddy. Placed rear end in chair and rested feet on edge of syrup kettle. Boy Oh Boy. The stars are out and I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight. Merry Christmas everybody.

Sounds mighty relaxing PCC. The stars are really pretty tonight. Clear as a bell.

Careful with that toddy.

Merry Christmas to you too!
