Sure hope you aren't thinking that Grandpa's gone. Every year I plant a row of sugar baby watermellons, the little round, real dark green ones. Then one day when they're getting ripe, we walk out to the garden, pick one out and plug it. I taste it first, (cause that's the way we always done it) if it's ready we just sit there and eat it, with a barlow, and our fingers. There we are, me on a bucket, and grandpa in my mind, spittin seeds, and letting the juice drip where it may.
You'll keep the good times, and hopefully pass on the wealth of information that you gleaned from him.
Best to ya,
