Snow vrs ice

we had 2 6in snows in three days then rain a small melt then rain then freeze now ice on everything driveway ,house,cars,barns,walkways(slideways),even on some stupid cows that don't know enough to get in out of the rain the deer are fighting over the left over hay in the feeders i'll take snow any time but ice nah

it's a whole lot easier ahoveling snow than ice and a lot safer walking

The weatherman indicated that the Sioux City airport reported 29.8 inches in the last 13 days which is a record for our area. The most that has fallen in one period like that since 1962. I don't know how much I have at the farm but it is a lot more than Sioux City has, I would say 35 to 40 inches in the last 13 days. People are thinking this is terrible, its just an ordinary winter like we had back when we were young. Basically, I will take the mositure no mater what it is.
