Read your post about your Grandpa. He knew what he was doing when he gave you everything. The grandkids would have probably sold it to a developer, and then all the trees would be cut down, and there would be a house on every quarter of an acre. Your a lucky man to have had such a great Grandpa. When my mother in law passed suddenly two and a half years ago (she was my best friend) I would have given anything to have her back.

I want to tell you something. I have never met you, but from all I have heard and seen from you, you are quite a catch. Your ex missed out on a good man. You have chosen to raise your daughter, and raise her up right. You have a great sense of humor and a bright outlook on things. You work hard. You are a thoughtful man. You know family is more important than any amount of money. You treasure life, nature, and land. You use what you hunt, and even though I don't hunt, I do love to fish, so I can relate somewhat. I have seen pictures of you to boot, and you are a nice looking guy. So why are you single? ;) Like most, I was not who I am today back when I was 20, so I will not say where were you when I was 20? lol I will however say, that if I was not happily married, with my child, dog, and everything else I hold dear, I would be there in a heartbeat. You are a man after my own heart. :) I hope you find somebody special that really appreciates you for who you are.

Thanks Kelly for the kind words...they mean alot..
my Grandpa told me in his letter out of all the grandkids he knew I was the strongest and I always do what ever it took. Even though I work in the city, I always stay in the country. Thats my life thats what makes me happy.
I seem to attrack city women(don't know why) but I have just not found the right one yet. Like Grandpa said don't sweat it and quit looking so hard and she will find you...
Even though I have seen some pretty tough times espically the last 5 months, I've lost my Oldest Daughter,Then My favorite Uncle and recently my Grandpa..I find a way to keep a positive outlook. Its been a really tough road to hoe here lately..but it's my destiny to make a differance some how, somewhere and be happy.
And I will acomplish it.

on a more personal note, your what they call a "good one" and that about says it all in my book.
