http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/10/14/60II/printable577975.shtml How many traitors does that make? Greg Thielmann should be shipped to the pro Saddam territories. Same with David Kay and Paul O'Neil. Maybe even Powell. I've always questioned him.

It will be interesting if, in a few years, the Iraqi people build a memorial to Coalition troops, especially the 500+ Americans that died for their "American given liberties"!

It sure is a shame the nation of Iraq is having free elections.Sure is a shame there are no more Rape rooms in Iraq.It is really ashamed how everything overthere is stabilizing and schools are poping up everyday.Really bad our own economy is doing better even with all the jobs NAFTA sent overseas.Where will all the evil demons hide and lie next? You guessed it,the Deomoncratic party.

I agree. It doesn't matter if there were WMDs or not. Sometimes you have too say things in order to advance your cause. Bottom line Saddam was a bad man and I'm more than willing to send our military over to free the Iraqi people. After all, this really has been a cheap war and we stand to gain alot.

"After all, this really has been a cheap war and we stand to gain alot."
most everyone here knows where i stand regarding the "war". but even the most hawkish of hawks has got to take this sentence as the rambling of an idiot!

David Kay seems to be a fairly honest man.

What if you were to go tell the world that you have a 6 legged cow on your farm. Then are ask to show proof that it existed?

I think that David Kay was about to be put into a simular situation. So he washed his hands of the the entire affair.

After all. He has been their with the UN before Clinton bombed Iraq due to UN inspections.
I beleive that if he had found something worth while. He would have been more than happy to have reported it.

As far as Powell goes. I think that he is just riding the wave and will shoot for the White House in 2008.

I believe the only action Clinton took in Iraq was to bomb a baby milk formula factory which was confirmed years later. Thinking it was a chemical factor formulating WMD's was the purpose of this bombing. Kay as well as GW realize that CIA and other covert abilities of the U.S. has suffered since the Carter Admin and Church Amendment. If any blame is placed it should be on Congress which went along with the dimantling of our ability to know when, where and if this country is endangered.

Nope...    Posted 02-08-2004 at 07:08:16       [Reply]  [No Email]
The 'aspirin factory' was in The Sudan...

Salmoneye

Clinton unleashed all of our stock of cruise missiles on Iraq in 1998 during a 4-day spree to take the heat off himself here at home...

Clinton Knew About WMD's

That was another Clinton mistake. There was a Formula factory in Iraq that was assumed to be cover for an illegal chem. plant. I remember the Aspirin Factory also.

Would have been kinda hard for Clinton to bomb 'baby formula' plants in Iraq, seeing as we supposedly destroyed all of them before he came into power...

I stand corrected. Checking the internet under "Iraqi baby formula plant", one finds both opinions on whether the plant was for chem. or formula. In either case it was during the former Bush admin. prior to the 1st gulf war. It does appear that our foreign intel. was lacking, to say the least during the late 80's through the present admin. and the WMD debate. Hopefully, GW will be given a second term to correct this problem of the past 20 years.

I think I said.
"After all. He has been their with the UN before Clinton bombed Iraq due to UN inspections."

The UN had WMD inspectors in Iraq before Clinton bombed them for not cooperating with the UN inspectors. And David Kay was their then.

I am just pointing out that he has not found proof that the 6 legged cow exist that the intelligence community has told the world lives in Iraq.

I am willing to bet that not a single person here would spend 13+ years looking for Gold on your property just because a former owner siad that he/she found a spec of dust. David kay did just that. Got tired of looking for something that he can not proove exist.

I am not knocking the man. Just looking at it from his side.
