Work 10 hour shifts 31/2 days a week at a Vet's (equine) office. Tuesday/Wednesday/Sunday's off.
Wishing I was self employed.

retired - i once considered keeping my contractors license up but didn't want to be one of those beer-bellied obsolete tailgate decorations that bark orders all day & brag about how early they get up. so my kid does that. :)

Got up and out at 4am. Made the commute from hades to the town job. Pre-tripped the truck, and started begging for a load of someting going somewhere. Moron Dispatcher told me to go back home because they didn't have any loads today. I don't know what economy the Bush Machine is saying is doing so well. Certainly not around here anyhow.

But I'm still very busy so just check here just every day or two. But I email friends and relatives that live out-of-state to save long-distance calls.

Got laid-off January 6th and am looking for work, not a lot of good jobs available in my area. I have been putting in time shoving snow but that doesn't pay a wage. Trying to put my papers together for taxes.

Vic in Kenefick    Posted 02-09-2004 at 10:14:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
Bricklayers don't get to work everyday. Sometimes it is due to the weather and sometimes it is due to the fact that there just aint no jobs around.

mike    Posted 02-09-2004 at 10:08:09       [Reply]  [Send Email]
