We found a baby goat with bloated tummy, unable to walk, mother maybe killed by coyote, fed it goatsmilk and alfalfa, doctor deworms goat,
she eats but does not like to walk. Problems with
hind legs, seem stiff, she lays in fresh hay with heat lamp, poop is nice and firm, she eats good.
I de liced her (she had African blue lice the sucking kind).
When will she actually walk and run like a goat?
Please help. I have her since 3 weeks. Do not know how old she is

I don't want to sound pesamistic but, you may have a real problem. The kid should be up and bouncing within a day of birth. It sounds like, if you want to keep the goat, that you should consider a vet that could give a true prognosis. I wish I could be more help, sorry. Please let us know how you make out with this.
