Hey toolman! How ya been feeling? Better now? Glad to see you back on here regularly. :) How much snow do you have currently? We are soggy here.

just measured 4 ft in the field ,another 2 to go to be normal, our average snowfall is 29.5 ft. but that usually settles down to about 5 or 6 ft deep , sure hope we don,t get much more nice an warm now about 46f out there, hows tip and the chicks getting along.

I think she wants to eat them, lol. She wanted to eat Sasha at first too, she will learn better. :) I let her sniff one today. She did that smiley thing dogs do, when they want to take a yummy treat, lol. Told her no, no eating the chicks. The cats could care less. They figure if they can't eat Sasha, they can't eat the chickens either. Ian keeps teasing me, saying they will be fryer size in no time.

we had a sheltie here named PRINCE he would stay out in the pourch with them when they were small and if they changed their chripin or anything he would come and get us up even in the middle of the night, every batch he was like that with them and even when they got big and went outside he would look after them, he just loved everything.
