please email me when this board returns to it's country roots, and quits being the on-line 700 club.

Seems like this covers quite a bit of territory.
This is the place to talk with others about topics related to country life and rural living. Ask a question, help with an answer or just share some of your ideas and experiences.

What are acceptable "country roots" topics?
I see:
Newfoundland
20 acre farm
Whos got sunshine?
Pssst salmoneye????
hand guns question
religion bashing
home brew question
The Wave (about pigs)
2002 census
A mother's teachings
furnace problems
Clipper yoohoo howdy
toolman
sandman coming
hamburger or steak
aloe vera
etc, etc
How should we know when to let you know? You might list a few topics that fit your bill.
;-)

Lemme tell ya some of the things that I've been flamed for mentioning.
God,
Jesus,
Satan
Tin foil hats,
Duct tape,
Maple syrup
Trucks,
Snow,
Tractors,
Manure spreaders,
Furnaces,
Chimneys,
Deer,
Guns,
Vets,
Politicans,
Dogs,
Cats,
Steers,
and my dying brother in law.
Mostly I can't figger out what's country here, sooooo I kinda shaddup, unless I respond to some that I know can tolerate my sense of humor.
Drop me a line when it turns back into a fun place to be.
Please don't tell John that I used to help my buddy say his Hail Mary prayers after confession, so he could get done faster, and we could go huntin sooner.
Later
Ron

I lurk on the Tractor Tales board sometimes, boy you can't be touchy over there, you'll get trampled on at times with the fun! :) When this board gets slow, which it hasnt been lately, I go there and read for fun. I see you over there Fawteen. :)

Fawteen    Posted 02-11-2004 at 07:38:22       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yep, it gets purdy deep over there sometimes. 'Bout the only thing that'll drive me off that board occasionally is the political bulldirt.

Speak up next time yer there, we don't bite, and Lord knows, we could use a little civilizin'...

Thanks for the invite, I might just get in the mix sometime. I don't know if I am the one to civilize anybody though...

Kelly...who regresses when she eats a good juicy steak...lol
