for your Valintine Saturday? Herr clink has been muttering something about some shrimp over to Ponderosa. I've got to thinkabout this. When I was courting her I was 5'17''. I can't imagine changing that much.
I wonder what shrimp is she talking of?

We won't go out to dine or anything. Last week we were going to a jazz club cause a friend of ours added two more musicians to his band and we wanted to check'em out. Carli used to play with the beach boys and now owns this nice jazz club but it's too far from home, and then after some drinks the road gets longer and the curbs straightens.
The thing is, most of the times we just brake our dates and stay home, cook something nice and maybe enjoy a good wiskey and sit outside and talk talk talk.
And, I'm not much of a romantic, comercially speaking, just love to spend some quality time together, and exchanging gifts is not important, we buy what we need any time of the year, moreover, I hate to go shopping, specially during any holiday season, not my thing.
Soooo, I'll do my hair, cook something nice and bake an up-side down pineapple cake.:-)

Have a great valentines day! and oh, keep warm:-)

Ain't planned that far ahead. I don't know, haven't had a deep-dish pizza for awhile and the opening scenes of "The Cell" are supposed to be really great. that sounds good. Deep-dish pizza and a movie about a mass murderer.

.....first thing in the morning we are gonna do calf chores, then we are gonna set forms for the rest of the pad for the new house, lay out the sewer and drain lines and dig up the spots where they go.
and to finish the day out,do calf chores again and head for the house for a special supper of frozen pizza! my favorite!

I'm gonna tell her I love her, just like I do every day.

My wife refuses to buy into this commercial Valentines/Mothers Day/Father's Day bulldirt.

Dang, I love that woman...

Me and Sharon are the same way. Heck, we didn't even get each other anything for our recent 35th anniversary. She has never worn an earring in her life and ain't into jewelry. Give her a good book and she's happy and won't bother you for hours.

Smart woman there, mine has been leaving jewelery ads laying around for weeks now. I usually wait till a few days after and buy candy on sale.

Joy    Posted 02-11-2004 at 17:51:33       [Reply]  [Send Email]

Oooh! That's bad! :) sale candy - I'd sure feel bad if that was all my hubby felt for me - discount candy for a discount woman? :( :( :(

My hubby got me two BIG Valentine teddy bears! And he already gave them to me, cause he'll be out of the country for the big day.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!!

I looked at the page earlier, but your post has the dreaded red X on the pic.
worst part about the candy is my wife is diabetic and can't eat it anyway, but I can.:^)

...gonna go w/ a few other couples at our (shhhhh! church) dinner theater.

A few years ago, I put an ad sumtin like this in our local paper under the Valentine's section:

"I love you more than the stars above,

..and more than my tractor."

Sure is a lonely time though, if you're single and don't wanna be.
